Albert P. Pang, age 63 of Seattle, WA passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning December 18, 2024, with his younger brother Alvin present to comfort him. Albert was definitely a survivor. It was only after decades of fighting that he finally succumbed to his illnesses.
His fearless, strong spirit was always present throughout his lifetime. We used to tease him by saying, “you have used up more than nine lives brother!”. In his younger years, he approached each adventure with boldness, from fishing trips with his friend Tim to vacations with friends and family. In his later years, video games became an important hobby where he found a supportive virtual community. He even approached new recipes across all cuisines with confidence by cooking big batches to share with his family. We also can’t forget to mention his expertise in wrapping joong with string, a Cantonese style dish where bamboo leaves are filled with sticky rice and meat.
He is survived by his 88 year old mother, four sisters, one brother, two nieces, one nephew, one brother-in-law, and several other cousins in Hong Kong and Seattle. Though we are all heartbroken, his mother is especially devastated by the loss of her first son.
Rest in peace to a son, brother, uncle, and cousin.
