Bernadette Laqueur

Bernadette Laqueur (4/24/1950 - 1/21/2023) was born to Gert and Mary Alice Murphy Laqueur in San Francisco and grew up near Washington, DC. She graduated from University of Indiana and worked in Los Angeles in legal administration. She and family moved to Seattle in 1989, where she was active in community, political and educational work. She was an avid pianist, conservationist, skier, kayaker, family geneologist and devoted friend.

Survivors include husband Paul Herstein, sons Andrew and Richard. Burial will be private at Lake View Cemetery.
