Jennifer Anne Scott

Jennifer Anne Scott passed away on May 12, 2024. Born in Medford, as a child she lived in Yakima and Seattle. Her high school years were spent in Portland.  She was told that she was free to go where ever she wished once graduating. Well, she graduated from high school early and then drove to New York City. Later she moved to San Francisco then returned to Seattle then Renton. She was a talented baker of breads and cookies after attending Baking School in Seattle.   Upon a friend’s suggestion, she became a lab assistant at Group Health.   She enjoyed preparing lab tests and working with doctors.  She worked for 18 years as a lab assistant at Group Health and then later Kaiser. She was an avid gardener, sharing her produce with friends. She enjoyed vacations in Hawaii with family.   An avid cat lover, she would feed the feral cats twice daily.   She loved walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean. She will be missed, the loss is a hard wound to heal. Thoughts of her smiling face will help.
