With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to Robert "Bob" Douglas Stevenson, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 66. Bob lived a life full of love, loyalty, and quiet strength — the kind of man whose presence you could always count on, and whose absence leaves a space that can never quite be filled.

Bob grew up in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle, where his story began. He attended Queen Anne High School, where he was a natural athlete — taking to the football field and earning his place as an all-star baseball player. In his teenage and early adult years, he dedicated himself to the discipline of martial arts, an interest that reflected the focus and steadiness he would carry throughout his life. Some of his fondest early memories came from summers spent in Bridgeport, Washington, working alongside his uncle and cousins on the family wheat farm — long days that gave him his work ethic and his deep, lifelong appreciation for showing up and doing things right.

That work ethic defined him. For 48 years, Bob was a loyal employee of Paint Sundries Solutions. He was reliable and predictable — and to those who loved him, that was one of his very best qualities. You always knew exactly who Bob was, and you always knew he'd be there.

But Bob was so much more than dependable. He was a man of passion and joy. He loved rock and roll, the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, and the thrill of a good hockey game — proudly cheering on his Everett Silvertips. Above all, he treasured spending time with his family and the time he spent in Hawaii with Kristin, the love of his life and his partner through it all.

To so many, Bob was a coach and a mentor — someone who gave his time, his wisdom, and his encouragement freely. He had a way of believing in people and helping them become their best, and his influence lives on in everyone he guided along the way.

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Kristin; his children, Bryce, Lacey, Brett, and Sarah; and his eight cherished grandbabies — Lily, Daphne, Tallulah, Atlan, Zinnia, Arlo, Hazel, and Magnolia — who brought endless light to his life.

He was a devoted husband, a caring father and grandfather, a faithful friend, and a steady presence to all who knew him. We are heartbroken to let him go, but endlessly grateful for the life he lived and the love he gave.
