Suey Hong Yee Obituary

Suey was born in Kaiping, China in 1930. After arriving in Seattle in 1947, he graduated from Queen Anne High School.

Suey retired from Boeing after 37 years and was a member of the Yee Association, Hop Sing Tong and Chong Wa Association. He was an early founder to help plan and raise funds to build Kin On.

Suey passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, and will be deeply missed for his dedication to family and friends, his generous spirit and his wry sense of humor.

Suey is survived by his wife of 68 years, Linda; his children, Steven (Melissa), Alan (Pam), Debora, and Alissa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kin On, Kline Galland, or Seattle Yee Fung Toy Assoc.
