Timotha HOLLOMON

1937 – 2025

Timotha "Timmie" Heily Hollomon passed away peacefully on April 21st, the same day as Pope Francis. It felt like a quiet tribute to her values of love, faith, and service. Timmie lived her life guided by compassion, humility, and an unwavering belief in the goodness of others.

Timmie was born in Seattle in 1937 to John and Sally Heily. She adored her parents and younger brother, Johnny. She grew up in Sheridan Beach, attended Forest Ridge, and then the University of Washington where she joined the Delta Gamma sorority. Her collegiate highlight was undoubtedly meeting her future husband, Jim Hollomon, on a blind date. They remained deeply in love for 53 wonderful years.

Timmie’s greatest joy was her family. She devoted herself to her children, adored her eight grandchildren, and was always everyone's guiding light. She loved celebrating every milestone, large or small. She held a deep affection for her niece and nephews and built lasting bonds with her in-laws, embracing them fully as part of her family with the same warmth and generosity she gave everyone she loved.

Timmie's friends were an enormous part of her family. She treasured her bridge and Mahjong games, more for the relationships than the competition. She had a special talent for making things around her tasteful and attractive. She enjoyed sharing her home with others and always had room for one more at the table.

Timmie was proud of her Catholic faith. She served on the Board of Regents at Seattle University and was overjoyed to assist in enhancing the campus artwork. She was deeply committed to philanthropy with an emphasis on education through the Fulcrum Foundation, Seattle University, and the University of Washington. Her commitment and generosity to education made an enormous difference in the lives of many.

Timmie is survived by her three children and their spouses, Steve (Lisa) Hollomon, Anne (Joe) Baldwin, and Pete (Trina) Hollomon; as well as her eight grandchildren Matt and Kevin Hollomon; Mike, Emily and Max Baldwin; and Andrew, Jackie and Allie Hollomon.

Timmie sparkled throughout this life. Those who knew her will remember her kindness, endless patience, and love of learning. She taught us that a life well lived is measured by the generosity we show, the integrity we live by, and the love we give to each other.

We will miss her dearly.
