Carol Frances Cornelia Eymberts

January 24, 1958 — June 13, 2025

Seattle

Carol Frances Cornelia Eymberts passed away peacefully at home June 13, 2025 with her brother Paul and sister Elaine at her side.

Carol was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on January 24, 1958 to John and Ann Eymberts. She was the second of four children. With her family she moved to Seattle in 1962 and was a resident of the Wedgwood area for over 60 years.

Through her family she developed a strong faith. She attended Our Lady of the Lake elementary and Blanchet High School. Most recently she was a member of St Mark Catholic church in Shoreline, Wa. and St. Edward Catholic church in Shelton, Wa. She was a devoted sister to Bert (Robin), Elaine (Jack) and Paul. As Tante Carol and a Godmother, she adored her nieces Michelle and Elizabeth, nephew Peter, and grand-niece Riley. Carol also has many cousins in Holland that she kept in touch with. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bert, and her niece Michelle.

Carol worked with her brother at his auto shop, Paulco Auto, where they made friends of hundreds of their customers. They seemed to know everyone, and it seemed they could run into someone they knew just about anywhere they went.

Carol had many and varied interests. She climbed Mt. Rainier, certified as an EMT, HAM radio operator, Scuba diving, Explorer Search and Rescue, and Quest NW. Carol participated in the Cannonball Run, a road rally loop around the U.S. She liked sailing, canoeing, took flight lessons, nursing and earned a degree in horticulture. She was always adopting stray plants and flowers.

She especially enjoyed the times they spent at their lake house sharing time with their friends from all around the lake. Campfires, kayaking, dinners, and yard work were her entertainment.

Her infectious (and loud) laugh, sense of humor and caring nature will be missed by all.
